When you Foster, You provide a long or short term home for a dog who is waiting for adoption or is not yet available for adoption.
They become a part of your family and benefit from the love, care, training and socialization you provide for them. This gives them the opportunity to heal or to learn the rules of being a family pet.
Not only that, you free up a slot at the rescue you are fostering for and the shelter they pulled the dog from!

Without Foster Homes, many rescues (including ours), can not pull any more animals due to a lack of space.

All of our dogs are to be Indoor Foster Pets. All dogs considered for fostering must be assessed by GoodFellas Rescue for temperament as well as potential health or behavior concerns that may limit what type of foster home they can be placed with. We do not allow dogs with human directed aggression to be placed for foster or adoption. We do not place dogs with extreme dog aggression in foster however, Bully Savvy Foster Homes will be considered for harder to place dogs. We try to match our foster homes with our dogs to ensure the best possible fit based on our knowledge of the dog's history or known behaviors.
